How can I purchase tickets for performances?
Tickets can be purchased online through our Tix.com, linked on our home page and menu bar any time tickets go on sale. You can also call our ticketing line at 805-640-8797 or email Herb@ojaiact.org for ticket reservations. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the theater’s box office. Box office opens approximately one hour prior to the start of the performance.
What are your box office hours?
We open one hour before each performance for in-person ticket purchases and will-call sign-in. Cash is recommended when buying tickets at the door but credit card/debit card purchases can be made.
What are your show times and dates?
All Ojai ACT theatrical productions run weekends only (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays) unless otherwise specified. Show times vary every show, so please check production details for exact performance times.
Do you offer discounts for students, seniors, or Art Center members?
Yes, special pricing is available for Students, Seniors, and Ojai Art Center Members. Visit our ticketing link for seating, pricing, and reservations (including reservations for season ticket holders). What are season tickets? Where/when can I buy them?
Season tickets are offered at the beginning of every theatrical season (generally some time in January), and are on sale until the close of the first show in our season. Season tickets allow the holder one ticket to every show in our season for he whole year! These tickets give you overall savings on general admission.
Is seating assigned?
Seating for performances is typically assigned. When purchasing tickets online, you will select your seats from the available options, or you may be assigned seats when calling or emailing to make reservations.
Are there parking facilities available near the theater?
Immediate street parking is available on Montgomery St. and Willow St. We recommend arriving early to secure nearby parking.
Can I exchange or refund my tickets if I can’t attend a performance?
Ticket exchanges and refunds are typically not available unless there are extenuating circumstances. However, we may be able to accommodate exchanges for another performance of the same production, subject to availability. Are your facilities accessible for individuals with disabilities?
Yes, our theater is accessible for individuals with disabilities. We have wheelchair-accessible seating options and accommodations available, please inform our box office of any specific needs when purchasing or picking up tickets.
Do you have concessions available during performances?
Yes, we offer snack and beverage concessions in our gallery during intermission. Donations are appreciated. Water only is permitted in the theater.
Can I bring children to performances?
Children are welcome to attend performances unless otherwise specified, but we recommend checking the age appropriateness of each production beforehand. Children over a certain age may require a ticket depending on the show, so please look at all performance details provided.
